SODAart, a non-profit association for contemporary arts and emerging artists based in Vienna, is devoted to promote transnational mobility and intercultural dialogues among emerging artists. It develops sustainable networking processes among them and support the diffusion of their productions outside the ordinary commercial art market models and prefabricated exhibition sites. SODAart aims to enhance the communication of emerging artists and their exchange of ideas through round-table discussions, exhibitions, co-productions, online publications and mostly, through the artist-in-residence programme, NOMAD. SODAart was founded and is based in Vienna since 2005.
SODAart represents following artists on a regular base: Liquid Loft/Chris Haring (contemporary dance)
Chris Haring is one of the leading figures on Austria’s young contemporary dance scene. He has danced with big names and companies from Europe and North America, and has represented Austria at a number of major events with his recent choreographies.
